We are awake when you are! We are here whenever you need to talk about the struggles you are having. The Carbon County Youth Crisis Center (CCYCC) is located at 1130 Daley St. Rawlins, WY. The Crisis Center has a 24 hour a day, no cost, “open door-open phone” policy for families and youth in need. CCYCC provides a safe, therapeutic, compassionate, and structured environment for youth while families work through the crisis with them. In times of family turmoil, the Crisis Center provides guidance and intervention geared toward the protection and preservation of the family. Temporary emergency care and shelter is provided for youth aged 0-17 years. It is designed for crisis intervention based on the family’s needs. At CCYCC, don’t define the crisis. Most youth return home in one to three days. The Crisis Center primarily serves Carbon County; however, its service can extend to youth throughout Wyoming and runaways who need a safe haven.CCYCC provides a “time-out” away from home for youth as families to cool down, de-stress, and refocus. This prevents problems from escalating and helps families work through difficult periods. For family’s raising difficult youth some respite care is available, working with family need and availability.

Our mission is to help Carbon County residents that have been diagnosed with cancer. The financial assistance provided can be used to help cover travel, lodging, meals and other expenses associated with battling cancer.
Ribbons of Hope is a local Carbon County nonprofit that was formed by several community members. The founding members were concerned that many local people and businesses were consistently donating to various national cancer charities that would call upon them. These organizations all had very good merit, however, the founding members felt that there were several people in the Carbon County area that were battling cancer and were also in need of assistance. The Carbon County Cancer Fund was established in 2013 as a nonprofit organization and began operating under the banner “Ribbons of Hope”. The goals of the organization are to raise funds for disbursement to Carbon County residents diagnosed with cancer and to assist with the cost of travel and other related expenses associated with battling cancer.
